Devon Intermediate Sports Exchange
On Monday the 2 of September 77 sporty students from Devon Intermediate School in Taranaki came up for a sports exchange. My sister and I took a billet each a girl called Rebekah and a boy called Gage. My billet Gage was so funny and really cool and the Rebekah was quiet. They both played soccer but they both lost there games! Our year 8 A netball team won: 39/8, and our other year 8 B netball team won: 28/12, our basketball team won:68/26, our girls soccer team won: 1/0, our boys soccer team won:2/1 and the year 7 netball team won 28/5. But we got thrashed in rugby number 5 in there team was huge and strongly build so he ran through our whole team and everyone was scared to tackle him so he scored most of the tries the score was 68/26. Last night there was a disco it was pretty fun it started at 5:50 and ended at 8:00 there were chips, drinks, glow sticks, and sausages. Overall the exchange was really awesome i had a wicked time.

Science Project
On Monday we had our first science lesson with our teacher we were making lava lamp in test tubes! It was really cool we filled the tube 1/3 of water then the rest with cooking oil and then put 3 drops of food colouring. After it settled for acouple minutes we put a bit of Alka Seltzer (fizzy stuff) and then the magic happened the fizzy stuff pushed the colourfull bubbles up and then back up. Later that day we had to make a question for the next day our groups question was ' Would a berocca and Panadol Rapid Relief work aswell as Alka Seltzer. Would the type of oil matter aswell?' The next day I bought in a berocca 2 different types of oil and Panadol rapid relief the test went well but the best was the Berocca with rice bran oil. So we made a bigger one it was AWESOME!
